  • Managed the relaunch of AIDSVu ( – an interactive, online map of HIV prevalence in the U.S. administered by Emory University and funded by Gilead Sciences, including supervising events and exhibits, Web content development, overseeing and conducting media outreach, identifying and managing subcontractors and coordinating with key advisors such as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Kaiser Family Foundation, state government partners and advocacy groups.
  • Developed the social media strategy for the AIDSVu project and the Web and social media content for platforms including Slideshare, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and YouTube. Increased Twitter followers by 20% in six months.
  • Led an audit of existing communication vehicles and developed a new comprehensive communication strategy, including messages, materials, social media and partnerships, for Food Allergy Research and Education, a new organization resulting from the merger of the Food Allergy Initiative and Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network.
  • Supported Dole Food Company’s corporate social responsibility campaigns on childhood obesity and sustainability through media outreach, event management and partnership development.
  • Conducted outreach to consumer media and blogs and developed materials for the launch of a new product line, Dole Nutrition Plus.

  • Developed a crisis management campaign – a finalist in PR News’ Platinum PR Awards, resulting in one neutral news story and limited online discussion and ensuring the client did not lose any contracts despite a major grading error on admission tests.
  • Secured news and op-ed placements in various media outlets, including “Today”, “American Morning”, “CBS Evening News”, The Associated Press, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Univision, USA Today, Bloomberg News, The Hill, TIME, Newsweek, The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, U.S. News and World Report, and NPR.
  • Planned and executed news events and conferences that regularly drew national media attention and large attendance from the policy community for clients, including the Harvard Graduate School of Education, the Schott Foundation, the Ounce of Prevention Fund, and MetLife, Inc.
